Challenge

Producing immersive visuals for film, events, and education demands accurate spatial data that can integrate into VFX workflows, interactive media, and AR/VR experiences. Traditional footage lacks the depth and interactivity modern audiences expect.

Solution

Using a combination of drone photogrammetry and ground-based LiDAR scans, SkyMesh 3D generated detailed 3D models and textured environments. These assets were optimized for use in Unreal Engine and Unity, supporting virtual tours, event fly-throughs, and augmented reality educational apps.

Results

The project resulted in interactive media experiences that increased viewer engagement by 40% at events and boosted online educational program attendance. Production timelines were shortened due to ready-to-use scan assets reducing manual environment creation.
